Greetings from Russia!

It`s been a long time since I`ve been playing Горубсо in a certain soccer simulator. If anyone cares, here it is: http://www.virtualsoccer.ru/roster.php?num=15590 . But at the moment I`m very curious about real Горубсо: how are they playing? What`s the difference between Горубсо (Мадан) and Горубсо (Рудозем)? Who ever played for this team? And all that I`ve found in the Internet is a little article in Wiki. I`m not satisfied at all

That`s why I need your help, my unknown Bulgarian friends. I`ll be grateful to anyone who has even a small piece of information about Горубсо.

P.S. If I`ve understood everything wrong and Горубсо played not in South-western B League, but in another, please move this theme where it should be.

P.P.S. I understand your Bulgarian language a bit (Russian and Bulgarian are somewhat similiar), but I can only writ in English to make it clear to you. Feel free to answer me in Bulgarian anyway

What I am about to write is just a speculation as I am completely unaware of the status of the Gorubsos

Here's a site that states Gorubso (Rudozem) spent the 2009/10 season in the 4th division of Bulgarian football - http://bgclubs.eu/teams/Gorubso(Rudozem). The official BFU site runs a factfile on the current season - http://bfu-tournaments.com/index.php?zi ... 5&who_is=2 - Gorubso seem to be active. The same site gives info on a junior side named FK Madan.

FK Madan on the other hand have also played in the very same division that season - http://bgclubs.eu/teams/Madan(Madan)

Also we should consider that 'Gorubso' is a general name for mining companies (if not the same company) in the region, and Madan and Rudozem are some 10 km apart. Now, my guess is that soon after the companies merged the teams merged aswell and there is no such team as Gorubso (Madan).

Keep in mind however that 10 minutes ago (when I started writing this post) was my first encounter with a team named Gorubso (Madan), so I might be totally wrong... hope it's helpfull though

Тя много отъняла групата 6 отбора само играят,по 2 мача на кръг,за да може да има повече кръгове сигурно

I can`t still understand a certain fact. Corwin wrote somewhere higher about merging of mining companies and thus possible merging of amateur teams. But if there ever were two teams? I speak about Мадан from Мадан and Горубсо from Рудозем. Yep, merging them can give us Горубсо (Мадан). But which of them ever really existed? That`s why I should ask you of a certain information about Мадан now. Not the one that is a town but a team. I`ll try to compare the information. *jf only I could understand Bulgarian a bit more, I`d found that by myself....*

P.S. Of course I`ve seen Wiki. But that information is... how to put that... a little bit unsatisfactory. That`s why I should speak with those who know better.

I think you missed a point here or I did not make myself clear (if so I am sorry ).
Yes, there was a team named Gorubso (Madan), and it is just another name for Madan (Madan). Both Gorubsos (Madan and Rudozem) existed, and that's for certain, and they both played in the same 4th division last season. However, that division only sports 6 teams now(10/11 season), and only the Gorubso (Rudozem) team is present. You can imagine that there is probably no lower division, since only 6 teams play in this one. There is, however, a junior team from Madan. You can check the links in my first post for this info.

So, in a nutshell - I am certain there used to be two teams named Gorubso, and they were two different teams. Can't be certain what happened, but the Madan Gorubso is now gone, only fielding a junior side under the name FK Madan. Gorubso (Rudozem) now plays in that 6-team 4th division (link in previous post).

About the badges - I have never seen a Gorubso badge and I don't know about the current one. http://www.bestmilitaria.com/ebayimg1/720/3.jpg - I am almost certain this is NOT a football badge. I already explained about the large mining companies named Gorubso, the two hammers are common mining symbol, and the circle crossed by a line is the symbol of one of the largest metalworking plants in Bulgaria (http://www.kcm2000.bg/profile/history/). So I believe it's just a worker's badge or something.
